Monrovia, 23.11.2018 - The Minister of Land of Mines, his Hon. Gesler E. Murray and Executive Director of the Rural Renewable Energy (RREA) agency, Augustus E. Goanue, visited the Energising Development (EnDev) offices in old Congo Town to receive an electric bicycle that is charged by solar power through the EnDev 100% solar run office.

Minister Murray and Mr. Goanue have been at the office for this celebration as the German delegation visited the EnDev offices and other guests. Among those were Ma Kebeh, who is the head of the Liberian Rural Women association, representatives from USAID, the German Ambassador to the Republic of Liberia, Hubert J. Jaeger and guests from the German federal Ministry for Federal Economic Cooperation and Development.

EnDev served their guests lunch and welcomed them to participate in the handing over of the E-Bike to RREA. EnDev is hoping to encourage more Liberians to change their cars into using E-bikes. These can be purchased in town for around 500$. The Minister and Mr. Goanue have both been positively surprised by the speed of the bikes and the costs that can be saved for also official use.
