Trust Savings Credit Union (TSCU) is one of the four (4) Regional Credit Unions created out of the vision of the Liberia Credit Union National Association (LCUNA) as an autonomous body supported by the Micro-Lead Revitalization Program in Liberia. TSCU operates in Region 3 that is comprised of Bong, Lofa and Nimba Counties.
The program was financed by MasterCard Foundation, with support from the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) and was implemented by the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU).
TSCU was established in 2013 to increase rural households’ access to financial services, particularly savings, to channel LCUNA and donor support more efficiently and effectively as a means to promote significant growth and create a more unified credit union structure and movement, to expand savings opportunities to the unbanked population of Region 3, addressing the financial needs of its members and expanding outreach to underserved communities. TSCU is an affiliate member of the Liberia Credit Union National Association (LCUNA).
TSCU Leadership Structure
Board of Directors comprised of nine (9) members and has the ultimate decision making authority and responsibility for directing and controlling the affairs of the credit Union and providing effective and efficient management of overall operations.
Supervisory Committee comprised of three (3) members and responsible in ensuring that the Credit Union is in compliant with all Rules, Regulations, internal controls and all applicable laws and bylaws of the Credit Unions.
Management Team is ultimately responsible for running the day-to-day operations and implementing all board policies, procedures, budgets and business plans of the credit union.

TSCU Aims and Objectives
To encourage, promote and further all measures designed to spread the spirit and practice of thrift among its members by affording them an opportunity for accumulating their savings and deposits and to create a source of funds from which loans can be made available to them.
To offer the members savings and credit and other financial services on a competitive basis as may be required by members from time to time and ensure the progress of its members by educating them continuously on the proper use of credit and educating them on savings and the benefits of savings”
To raise or negotiate loans from financial institutions or other sources for the benefit of members
To cooperate with other cooperatives in order to promote members' interest and in furtherance of these objects the corporation may affiliate to National Cooperative organizations and the Apex Corporation.
