On Wednesday, May 8, 2019 a Project Engineer Storage, Norbert Taphorn, from a Germany based company called TESVOLT, held a one day Seminar about Lithium Ion battery storage, at the Rural and Renewable Energy Agency (RREA) head office, and their company which is providing storage solution with such technology.
TESVOLT specialize in Lithium Ion battery storage for commercial enterprises. They produce lithium-ion-based electricity storage units that can be connected to all renewable energy producers in the low-voltage grid: sun, wind, water and combined heat and power. All of TESVOLT storage systems are assembled in their own production facility in Germany.
The seminar brought together, renewable energy stakeholder from various companies and organizations in Liberia. After the presentation, the company introduced it system in Liberia, which isworking on the ELWA Compound and is the first bigger lithium-ion storage in the country.Read more about TESVOLT here.
