Two staff of the Carter Center headed by Madame Janice Cooper visited the office of EnDev on Thursday, 15th September 2016.  Madame Cooper disclosed that the Carter Center is involved in three major programs in Liberia: Peace and Justice, Rule of Law and Mental Health & a program in Freedom of Information will be introduced subsequently.

Mme. Cooper was quick to mention the difference EnDev have made at the E.S. Grant Mental (Psychiatric) Hospital. There is a resident psychiatrist at the hospital, Dr. Harris along with 15 trained nurses; and that over 166 mental health clinicians have been trained in Liberia over the past 6 years by the Carter Center Mental Health Program.

The visit was intended to solicit support from EnDev/GIZ Renewable Energy for the School Clinic Project. The project operate clinic in four schools: KRTTI Demonstration School and the Lango Laypay School in Margibi County and BW Payne and Tubman High Schools in Monrovia.
